Project Journey

The Winnipeg Humane Society facility has been termed “aesthetically beautiful and environmentally friendly” by its executive director. The 40,000-square-foot facility features exposed structural wood, metal, and concrete elements that form a structural building frame that is sustainable, striking, and durable. It encompasses more room, more technology, and more resources, and for the first time, incorporates classroom areas for educational purposes. The state-of-the-art facility is LEED® Gold certified.
