Miles MacDonnell Collegiate Gym Addition

Project Journey

This project included a new gymnasium with change rooms and storage along with some renovations to the existing school.

The gymnasium addition to Miles Macdonell Collegiate at 757 Roch Street in Winnipeg achieved Gold certification under LEED Canada NC 2009 with a total of 64 points. Energy modelling showed exemplary energy performance 56% better than the MNECB 1997 baseline.  The project was also successful in obtaining incentives through the Efficiency Manitoba New Buildings Program.
